This certainly holds true for most people. The Obama White House and the <a href="http://www.bls.gov/eag/">Bureau of Labor Statistics</a> just related that Unemployment has hit 9.7%. You can view this on the previous link for Labor Statistics. Sounds like the National Unemployment Rate went down from 10% to 9.7%. Now, let&#8217;s consider the rest of the story.</p>
<p>In Washington D.C. where Government Jobs are rapidly increasing (by spending our Tax Dollars for these Government Jobs), we see an Unemployment rate below 6%. On the other hand, take our most populous state of California we see 12.4% Unemployment. If we consider my area of Southern California we find Unemployment at 14% (some areas of the Nation are approaching 50% Unemployment).</p>
<p>With these alarming figures we have not even considered the <a href="http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/surveymost">Number Unemployed for 27 Weeks &amp; Over</a> who have dropped off the Unemployment Statistics Band Wagon. Even after several extensions their Unemployment has run out and they are not being considered as Unemployed for the purpose of the posted Unemployment Rate.</p>
<p>Now another class of non statistics is the <a href="http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/surveymost">Numbers of those Discouraged from even Looking for a Job</a>, the ones that have looked and waited for a job for six months, some for several years seeing no possibility for a future job. These individuals are also absent from that 9.7% National Unemployment Rate.</p>
<p>If we consider the whole Unemployment picture in its entirety the numbers are quite different. With the foregoing, we have not even mentioned those who are now working part-time, less than 33 hours or those under-employed, forced to take entry level jobs. Considering the bigger picture, it becomes much more alarming with a number closer to 17% to 22% Unemployment for our great Nation.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, we are not producing sustainable jobs that will remedy our Unemployment situation. Instead we are continuing to send jobs Overseas, attempting to create Green Jobs (at a cost this Country can not maintain), using band-aid after band-aid. As long as the Obama Administration spends money we have to print and tax businesses like they are wards of the State, we will not see good sustainable (permanent) jobs created by business owners. Business owners and entrepreneurs know and understand this Administration has no conceptual knowledge of how to create jobs. With such a business, entrepreneurial disconnect and hostile environment for growth and job creation, we will not see new jobs and a factual reduction in Unemployment.</p>
<p>Sadly, as long as Business feels they are demonized, under attack and face uncertainty from Obama and his cronies, they will be extremely reluctant to borrow, expand, grow or hire at the detriment of our Nation&#8217;s growing Unemployed.</p>

Soft despotism is different from <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Despotism">despotism</a> (also called &#8216;hard despotism&#8217;) in the sense that it is not obvious to the people. <strong>Soft despotism gives people the illusion that they <span style="font-weight: normal;"><strong>are in control</strong>, when in fact they have very little influence over their government. <strong>Soft despotism breeds fear, uncertainty, and doubt in the general populace.</strong> Alexis de Tocqueville observed that this trend was avoided in America only by the &#8220;habits of the heart&#8221; of its 19th-century populace.</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">This certainly describes America today, we are falsely under an illusion and belief that we are in control of the country.  Yet we see the country heading in the exact opposite direction we want. Every attempt to re-direct or correct the wrong policies, laws, taxes are thwarted by what we loosely call the Democratic Administration and Congress. In reality, Democrats would not give us the Economy, lack of control, taxes, policies, bills, deficit spending that we are experiencing. </span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;"> Yes, the Democratic Congress has voted for the foregoing, under the leadership of Congressional Progressives. These Progressives are so dangerous because they have and are infiltrating both parties. Many do not agree, but with party loyalty, they are on board and vote with the Progressives in Congress and the Administration. There will come a point, when this dismantling of America will become irreversible. I will quote from <strong><em> <a href="http://www.glennbeck.com">Glen Beck&#8217;s Show (2-3-10)</a><span style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal;"> <strong>Marxism</strong> is accomplished by <strong>Revolution;</strong> <strong>Progressivism</strong> is accomplished by <strong>Evolution.</strong> In other words Marxism, Socialism, Communism are done quickly, overtly, dictatorially and usually without too much opposition. While we see Progressivism is accomplished by clandestine methods, quietly, unsuspectingly (in other words by baby steps), without perception. Progressivism is willing to go forward until discovered (caught). They are willing to hold back until another opportunity arises. This is what makes the Progressives so dangerous and persistent  foes.</span></em></strong></span></strong></p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be disarmed simply by their current name. They have and are constantly changing their name, they are certainly AKA, Progressives, Liberals, Populous, they have gone (and been known) by all these names during the past 110 years. The danger is not in the name, it is in the <strong>statist</strong> <strong>ideology</strong>, that the rights, power, privileges, purpose and existence of the people comes from State not from the Constitution or Declaration of Independence:  &#8221;We hold these truths to be self-evident, that <strong>all men are created equal</strong>; that they are endowed by their <strong>Creator</strong> with inherent and <strong>inalienable rights</strong>; that among these, are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness&#8230;&#8221; This quote from the 1776 Declaration of Independence is where we derive our rights and privileges as a people and a nation, not from People, the President,  Politicians or the &#8220;State&#8221;.</p>
<p>The more I study and learn of our inheritance, our founding, our history as a nation, our contributions to the world, I become more saddened by the direction we are taking. Please follow what is going on in and to America, that we remain salt and light in this darkened world.</p>

<p>The current administration and the current congress (mostly Democrats, but not exclusively) are running from and constantly changing their methods and tag lines, but not their agenda. The Obama Administration, the Congressional Leadership are nothing more than Ideologues (an advocate of some ideology), Statists, Grievance Culture, Progressives, Liberals, Populouses, these people by any other name remains the same; they have an agenda outside of the U.S. Constitution.</p>
<p>Some statists call their political beliefs populism, socialism, or communitarianism. At the extreme, undemocratic end of the statist spectrum. Most are currently calling themselves Populous, because they believe it offers the best cover for their agenda. They believe the Constitution is a Living Document, to be modified, changed, disguised, altered into anything that perpetuates their agenda. An agenda with no similarity to our Constitution and founding.</p>
<p>The more you understand their agenda, their plan, their vision or their desire for America, you will see no similarity to the America we have had and known for these past 234 years. Firstly and lastly, understand we can not work with Progressives, the only answer is to remove and defeat them at every opportunity.</p>

<p>Even our Founding Fathers new and understood we would be under attack from without and from within. There is nothing less than our Country&#8217;s Existence at stake (WAKE UP-PLEASE).</p>

<p>Another famous warning also came from across the pond, many years ago and again we ignored this warning:  <strong>Alexis de Tocqueville </strong>:  The dangers of loose fiscal policy were stated as follows: &#8220;A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury.&#8221;</p>
<p>Well, the voters, at least an apparent majority have learned that they can vote themselves money from the public treasury by simply voting for certain parties and candidates. You can see the results by visiting the Real Time Debt Clock, <a href="http://www.usdebtclock.org/">Debt Clock (Real Time)</a> we have amassed a debt over $680,000 per family in America today and it&#8217;s climbing by the minute. Let me explain the problem in a easy way everyone can understand. Many of us become easily confused about sums of money.</p>
<p>Our deficit for the coming year will be in excess of 1.3 Trillion Dollars. I will give a simple example of only a portion of that, namely 1 Trillion Dollars (only a portion of our national deficit). Let&#8217;s start at day zero, the day Jesus Christ was born (Day One, Year One). You need to spend 1 Trillion Dollars, by the year 2010. You would need to spend One MIllion Three Hundred Sixty Four Thousand Dollars, not every year, not every month, not even every week; you would have to spend that much every single day from year 1 to year 2010. Once you grasp the idea of a 1.3 Trillion Dollar Deficit, you realize that we are being spent to a literal oblivion. All I can say is wake up, pull your head out of the sand and help stop this insanity. Albert Einstein said Functional Insanity &#8211; &#8220;When you do the same thing, the same way and expect different results.&#8221;</p>

<p>We find ourselves on the verge of loosing our nation to a group of progressives who no longer understand nor appreciate our nation and our Constitution. As we also find our nation secularized, demoralized, un-Constitutionalized, dumb-adized (not a real word) and left with leaders on a full speed ahead course of national destruction. A great example our then President Elect said on Jan 15th, 2009, &#8220;We are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.&#8221;</p>
